This beautiful backyard deck / side door entrance project was completed in the village of Lancaster.————————————————

After much thought and computer sketches we landed on a beautiful grey two toned, picture framed deck with two wide platform stairs for a sleek, modern look.

We had also completed a new side door entrance with two sets of stairs. These stairs had been covered with Trex composite decking or a long lasting, durable, easy to clean surface. Also all exposed wood had been charred and treated with natural oil. This approach is a Japanese method called “shou sugi ban” which seals the wood fibers making it a great option for exterior wood.

when properly maintained any above ground wood could last up to 80 years!
